MySQL front-end application Navicat released an update on Wednesday adding several new features. The new version now supports HTTP Tunnel, MySQL version 5.X and Triggers. With this new version, users do not need to rely on Webmin or phpMyAdmin for slow remote MySQL administration. Navicat is a MySQL client tool that features a visual query builder; SSH/ HTTP tunneling for remote database connectivity; server-to-server database transfers; data and structure synchronization; import/export of most popular data formats to and from MySQL; and task scheduling. Version 6.2.1 is available from the company’s Web site.
