Game peripheral maker Nyko plans to unveil a series of accessories for Sony’s PlayStation Portable (PSP) at this week’s E3 Expo in Los Angeles. Among them include an adapter that lets you view what’s on your PSP’s screen on your TV, an FM tuner and more.
The Play on TV Adapter for PSP connects the PSP to your television or entertainment center using RCA cables, allowing PSP users to play games and watch UMD or Memory Stick Pro Duo-based movies directly on the TV screen. Also included is a stereo audio cable that connects the PSP to your entertainment center as well, so you can hear the PSP’s audio on your home stereo.
Nyko’s Charger Grips for PSP offer what the company calls a “controller style” grip for the PSP. It also extends the PSP’s battery life up to five hours of additional play time.
The Power tuner for PSP is Nyko’s FM transmitter; it lets you pump your PSP’s audio to a nearby FM receiver, such as a car stereo. The unit doubles as a charger for the PSP, drawing current off of the automobile’s lighter or accessory port.
