So far the tag-team of Freeverse Software and Strange Flavour have produced Macintosh games like Airburst and Toysight. Now the companies are collaborating on their first Xbox 360 game — a camera game called Totemball, designed to run on the Xbox Live online gaming platform.
Strange Flavour’s Toysight turns an iSight-equipped Macintosh into a gaming machine that puts you in the action — you control on-screen characters and devices as you wave your hands or make other motions picked up by the camera. Now they’re translating that expertise to Xbox Live with Totemball.
Freeverse describes Totemball as a “camera-controlled musical platform adventure game” designed to work on Xbox Live. The company expects to show the game in Microsoft’s booth at E3 this week.
