After finishing its beta period Plaxo has unveiled version 1.0 of its address book syncing utility for the Mac. Plaxo allows users to sync their Apple Address Book to the company’s online servers — with Plaxo installed on other Macs or PCs, the contents of the address book will sync with each computer, always keeping the most up-to-date information. If one of your contacts is a Plaxo member any information they change on their contact card will automatically be updated in your address book. Plaxo can be downloaded from the company’s Web site — the basic service is free, but you can upgrade to a Pro account and receive additional functionality.
