After a long beta gestation period, Karelia Software has released Sandvox, a visual Web page editor for Mac OS X. Sandvox requires Mac OS X v10.4.4 or later and costs $39.
Sandvox is a drag-and-drop visual Web page design tool. It includes a variety of pre-designed themes but also lets you make your own layouts using the $69 Pro version, which also supports e-commerce and dynamic content. Sandvox can be used for blogs, small business Web sites, photo weblogs and much more.
Sandvox lets users publish Web sites to Web space provided by ISPs, your own computer, or .Mac. It also supports Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed publishing, podcasts and more.
Sandvox is a Universal Binary that runs natively on Intel-based Macs.
Household and site licenses are also available.
