Equinux has updated its eBay sales utility for Mac OS X, iSale, to version 3.1. The new version is free for registered 3.x users, and costs $14.90 to upgrade from previous releases. iSale costs $39.95. A demo version is available.
iSale simplifies the process for listing auctioned items on eBay. The software lets you import pictures from iPhoto or use your iSight camera to take pictures, keep an eye on sales using a Dashboard widget, search for keywords within your auctions, browse by category, host images by FTP and .Mac, and much more.
New to the 3.1 release is the ability to relist unsold auctions; a “watch count” that lets you know how many people are viewing or following your auctions; an improved Dashboard widget with new features; localized preview in English, German and French; and “a few changes under the hood” that Equinux explained have been made in preparation of a new eBay communication standard that will go live on June 1, 2006.
