CS Odessa has announced the release of ConceptDraw Mindmap 4.4, a new version of their mind mapping application for Mac OS X and Windows. The free update for 4.x users is available for download now; the full release costs $99 for the Personal edition, $199 for the Professional edition.
ConceptDraw Mindmap is a brainstorming tool that relies on a technique called mind mapping, in which you visually link words or concepts to a central key word or idea. It can be helpful for problem-solving, decision-making, organization and more.
The new release of ConceptDraw Mindmap can save outlines and text notes directly to the iPod. It doesn’t rely on iTunes to act as an intermediary, either. iPods can carry plans and task outlines as slideshows, so you can view mindmaps on the road or share them with friends and colleagues.
The update also allows you to print all of the text notes without printing the map or outline.
