SmileOnMyMac has updated TextExpander, the company’s typing utility that allows users to define abbreviations for frequently used text strings and images. The update has a couple of new features: direct creation of snippets from selections and snippet nesting. SmileOnMyMac acquired Textpander earlier this month from developer Peter Maurer and renamed it TextExpander, The utility can imports snippets from Textpander, as well as from TypeIt4Me and Typinator. TextExpander costs $29.95.
