With the introduction of QuarkXPress 7 on Tuesday, Extensis announced the release of QuarkXPress 7 XTensions modules for all Extensis font-management products.
The XTensions ensure that any time users open a QuarkXPress 7 project, fonts are automatically and accurately activated or deactivated. The modules extend support to the Suitcase Fusion Single User, Suitcase Server X1 and Font Reserve Server 1.7.4 font-management products, according to Extensis.
The free XTensions modules for QuarkXPress 7 are

from the Extensis Web site. The Suitcase Fusion XTensions module for QuarkXPress 7 and the Font Reserve Server Client XTensions module for QuarkXPress 7 are available for QuarkXPress 7 or QuarkXPress Passport 7 and run on PowerPC-based Mac OS systems. The Suitcase Server X1 Client XTensions module for QuarkXPress 7 will be available by the end of this month.
Extensis also said it will release its Universal Binary XTensions software, which will run on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Mac OS systems, later this year.
