Long time Macintosh developer Stone Design on Tuesday release Videator 1.0, a new application that uses Apple’s Core Image and Core Video technologies. Videator gives users access to over 108 effects, transitions, and filters so you can layer movies, images, paint, music and text over video, as well as apply, modify, and re-order multiple effects. Movies can then be saved as QuickTime or iPod, and images as industry-standard TIFF or JPEG files. Videator is available from the company’s Web site and costs $49.
