Coderus has announced the availability of its MacDX Software Development Kit (SDK) as a Universal Binary, capable of running natively on Intel or PowerPC-based Macs.
The MacDX SDK can be used by game developers to help facilitate the conversion of Windows game code to Mac OS X. It’s been used by Virtual Programming, for example, to develop Macintosh versions of its games. The company also works with Unix developers.
Coderus indicates that it will make the Universal Binary available at no extra charge in its licensing fee for the next 30 days — existing MacDX licensees need to contact Coderus for more information.
