Lucasfilm Ltd. on Thursday announced that Cartoon Network’s Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series has been released on Apple’s iTunes Music Store. Volume 1 has been released today; Volume 2 will be released in June.
Each chapter, or episode, costs $1.99 individually; the entire first volume (20 episodes) can be purchased for $10.99.
Star Wars: Clone Wars is an original animated series that follows the adventures of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu and the Jedi Knights as they fight against the forces of the Dark Side. The series received Emmy Awards when it first debuted on television in 2004 and 2005.
