On Wednesday Contour Design announced the release of new settings to allow its ShuttlePRO, ShuttlePRO V2 and ShuttleExpress peripherals to work with Apple’s Aperture. The new settings are available for free download.
Contour Design’s ShuttlePRO, ShuttlePRO V2 and ShuttleXpress are USB-based devices equipped with multiple buttons and jog/shuttle wheels — useful for applying functions in video and music editing software and other applications. The driver software used to control these peripherals was recently updated as a Universal Binary, with new actions and features available.
The new settings for Aperture help Contour shuttle users navigate through large numbers of photos and more easily access Aperture’s tools, according to the developer. Contour has assigned buttons and actions to help users rotate images, assign ratings, activate the loupe, zoom, crop, spot and patch tools, and more.
