Badia Software has announced ContactPage 2.0, a new version of their QuarkXPress XTension that automates the creation of contact sheets of images with captions. New in this release is support for QuarkXPress 7 and QuarkXPress Passport 7. ContactPage 2.0 costs $89.99 with upgrades from previous versions priced at $44.99.
ContactPage can import a folder with hundreds of pictures, placing descriptive captions under each one. Captions can include a wide range of picture attributes, and you can make global type adjustments after the contact sheet is created.
In addition to support for the new version of QuarkXPress, the new release of ContactPage also comes with more customization options, a fully editable picture list with sorting capability, and a new mode that lets you add labels to annotate all pictures in existing documents.
System requirements call for QuarkXPress 7 or QuarkXPress Passport 7 and Mac OS X v10.4.2 or later.
