Maplesoft on Monday announced the forthcoming release of an Intel-compatible version of their Mac math software Maple 10. Maple 10 helps scientists, researchers and academicians solve complex math problems. Maplesoft said that Maple 10 for Intel Macs is coming in early June. Pricing starts at $1,995 for the professional version.
Maple can also be used to create interactive technical documents. It includes an equation editor and palettes, handwriting recognition, unit manipulation with context menus, task templates, task assistants, statistical capabilities and more.
Maplesoft said the new Intel-compatible Mac version provides faster 2D and 3D rendering and plot manipulation than before, along with all the features of the existing Mac Maple 10 product.
