Apple’s latest retail store location opens at Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka, Minn. on Saturday, June 10, 2006. The Ridgedale store is Apple’s fourth in Minnesota, joining stores at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Edina and Roseville.
The Apple Store is located on the south side of the mall, between JCPenney and Sears, on the lower level in the Center Court area. Ridgedale Center itself is located west of Highway 169 and East of I-494.
To celebrate the store’s grand opening Apple will give away t-shirts to the first 1,000 people to visit the store. A Grand Opening Sweepstakes will award one winner a prize package worth $2,229, including an iMac, camera and camcorder, printer and iPod nano.
The store itself features The Studio, an area where Apple Creatives can help customers with creative uses of their Macs like video editing, photo editing and more. The store will also feature workshops throughout the week to help users get the most out of iLife 06, podcasting, iTunes, .Mac and more.
