THQ on Tuesday announced that its video game based on Disney/Pixar’s new film Cars is now in reaching retail stores. The game has been released simultaneously for multiple platforms, including Mac OS X.
Cars — Pixar’s latest computer-animated motion picture — tells the story of Lightning McQueen, an up-and-coming rookie race car focused on his career, who has to make amends to the citizens of Radiator Springs, a town filled with personalities like Mater, a tow truck, Sally, a Porsche, and Doc Hudson, a vintage 1951 Hudson Hornet. The movie opens this weekend in theaters nationwide.
In the video game, players get a chance to participate in races and other activities in and around the town of Radiator Springs, playing more than 10 characters and 30 races and minigames.
System requirements for the Mac version were not available as Macworld posted this article.
