Nyko Technologies on Tuesday introduced the FM Trans Kit for iPod nano. The device is an FM transmitter that can run either from the iPod’s battery or from the cigarette lighter or accessory outlet in a car. It costs $39.99.
The Trans Kit includes three different mounting options: You can use an adhesive-backed clip, a horizontal/vertical air vent clip or sun visor clip to find the right spot to put your iPod nano while you’re driving.
You can tune the Trans Kit to five different channels using a single button-push, to find an unused frequency suitable for listening to the iPod nano’s music on your stereo. When it’s plugged into your car’s cigarette lighter, the Trans Kit will also charge the iPod nano’s battery, even while it plays.
