Software music instrument-maker MOTU has released Universal Binaries of two of its products. Entho Instrument 1.0 combines ethnic instrument sounds with world music loops and phrases. Entho is available as standalone application and as a plug-in in all major formats for Mac OS X. The Entho instrument includes 4GB of ethnic sounds. MOTU Symphonic Instrument 1.1.2, is a maintenance release that includes a standalone version, disk streaming, multiple outputs, four banks of MIDI channels, Expert mode, keyswitching and Intel support, among other changes.
