IDG World Expo plans to start the Michael Bartosh MacIT Scholarship Fund to help bring a college age network engineering student to Macworld Expo to attend the MacIT Conference.
Last week it was reported that Michael Bartosh, a Mac OS X server expert, author and frequent presenter at Macworld Expo and WWDC, passed away while on a trip to Tokyo, Japan. Bartosh was 28 years old.
A form has been set up on Macworld Expo’s Web site for parties interested in contributing to the fund. Macworld Conference & Expo VP Paul Kent said that ID World Expo is in the midst of setting up the formalities of the fund and will be in touch once it’s in place.
Macworld and IDG World Expo are both owned by International Data Group (IDG).
