Coolgorilla has released a free French translator for iPod users. The translator includes more than 800 MP3 files of French words and phrases. It’s available for download now.
The translator breaks words and phrases up into 11 categories including accommodation, travel, eating out and socializing. Also included is a dictionary and a separate section on grammar. The words and phrases are accessible through the “Notes” feature available in screen-equipped iPods.
Coolgorilla developed the translator in cooperation with lastminute.com. The companies previously collaborated on a World Cup Guide for iPod that teaches listeners essential German words and phrases.
Greek and Spanish translators are on their way within the next three weeks, according to Coolgorilla.
