Bains Software on Tuesday released an update for its junk mail filtering application SpamSweep. The new version adds the ability to trash messages without marking them as spam first. SpamSweep 1.4 also includes several bug fixes. SpamSweep combines including domain and relay blacklists, sender whitelisting, and a bayesian filter to automatically delete spam messages before they are downloaded by your email client, according to the developer. SpamSweep costs $25 and is available from the developer’s Web site.
