Mariner Software on Wednesday announced that all five of its products are now Universal Binaries that run natively on Intel and PowerPC-based Macs.
Mariner’s products include Mariner Write, a word processor; Mariner Calc, a spreadsheet application; MacJournal, a journaling and blogging application; Desktop Poet, a “fridge poetry”-making app; and Montage, a screewriting software package. Updates and trial versions for all the software applications are available online.
Mariner Write’s latest release, 3.7.2, also features performance enhancements, compatibility improvements with Mac OS X v10.4, and more. Mariner Calc 5.5.1 updates Japanese language resources, improves Excel import and more. MacJournal 4.0.4 has added German localization and fixes several bugs; Desktop Poet 1.0.1 has performance enhancements and bug fixes; and Montage is now in at Public Beta 8, and has added new features and fixed a variety of bugs.
