Nova Media makes iSync plug-ins that enables Apple’s synchronization software to work with more phone models than Apple supports. They’ve updated those plug-ins to work with changes to iSync made with Apple’s Tuesday release of Mac OS X v10.4.7.
Th new 3.0 update adds support for more than 30 phones from Motorola, Nokia, BenQ-Siemens and Sony Ericsson, enabling these cell phone models to sync calendar and contact data with the Mac.
Nova Media spokesperson Jan Fuellemann explained that the update was necessitated by changes in Mac OS X v10.4.7, which broke compatibility with the older plug-ins.
The update requires Mac OS X v10.4.7 and iSync 2.3 (which is installed with Mac OS X v10.4.7).
Nova Media’s iSync plug-ins cost €9.95 (US$12.59).
