inRESONANCE on Monday announced the release of Keystone 4.0, a Student Information System (SIS) based on FileMaker Pro 8 that works on Mac OS X and Windows.
Keystone 4 was developed to provide schools with a way of tracking student, faculty and staff data. Information on courses and sections can be tracked, along with daily attendance, discipline infractions, grades and comments, and permanent recorders. Users can use Keystone to generate graphical scheduled, class lists, grade reports, transcripts, multi-year reporters and more.
Designed to be customized by non-technical users, Keystone also has an optional Teacher Access Module that lets teachers access student and advisee info, input term and grades and comments and take attendance. Keystone integrates with other add-on systems available from inRESONANCE including the Portal admissions management software and Advocate college guidance software.
New features in version 4.0 include e-mail broadcast integration; enhanced analysis and reporting; better security; faster database query and response; expanded data export capabilities; and improved data entry with type-ahead, spell checking, drop-down calendars and help menu pop-ups.
