TypeIt4Me v3.0 is finally available. TypeIt4Me is a typing shortcut utility for Mac OS X, and the new release costs $27 to register, or $9 to upgrade if you’ve registered a previous version.
With TypeIt4Me you can set up “abbreviations” for text or pictures — “clippings” — you need to regularly input into documents or files. You simply type the abbreviation and TypeIt4Me does the rest.
Version 3.0 — first announced and previewed at Macworld Expo in San Francisco, Calif. this past January — is now a Universal binary. It also features a new user interface, and adds almost a dozen new features, including support for styled text; the ability to view or print clippings on a formatted list and much more.
TypeIt4Me 3.0 is a free update for anyone who has purchased the previous version since July 1, 2005. A 30 day trial version is available. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3 or later.
