Targeted to home users and musicians, the JTM AudioSkin collects loose cables and ‘zippers’ them into one snake, getting rid of the endless coils of cables — the company said it takes no more than a twist of the wrist to wrap the cables. “It’s one of those little gadgets that does one simple thing, but it will have broad appeal and a wide variety of uses,” said JTM founder Joey Tafolla. The AudioSkin is being distributed by FMI, a division of Fender Musical Instrument. The device costs $16.99 and will ship in August, but it is available for pre-order now.
