Princeton, NJ-based Rogue Amoeba on Monday updated its audio recording software, Audio Hijack Pro. Version 2.7 said the main feature in this update is the simplification of the cumbersome task of recording audio chats from applications like Skype, iChat, Gizmo Project and others. The update also features the ability to save Lyrics or Notes in a file’s ID3 tags, enhanced Preview functionality for playing back recordings and improved support for the RadioShark AM/FM radio. Version 2.7 is a free update for registered owners of Audio Hijack Pro 2 — it costs $32 to buy.
