Newer Technology on Thursday announced the launch of a new battery recycling program aimed at PowerBook and iBook users who want to make sure that their spent batteries are properly disposed of.
Newer Technology’s NuPower laptop batteries now include a free return shipping label. Batteries sent back to the company using this return label are directed to an appropriate recycling and disposal center.
Newer makes replacement batteries for PowerBook G3 and G4 systems and iBooks — including the original “clamshell” design, G3 and G4 models.
