While Mac OS X “Leopard” and Mac Pros are the centerpieces of Apple’s Monday announcements from its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco, the company also revealed that it has lowered prices on its line of Cinema Displays.
The 30-inch Cinema HD Display, which features 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, is now $1,999 — previously it was priced at $2,499. The 23-inch Cinema HD Display, which features a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, is $999, down from $1,299. The 20-inch Cinema Display has a 1680 x 1050 resolution, and costs $699, down from $799.
All three displays feature Digital Visual Interface (DVI) connectivity and are Mac and PC-compatible. They feature a minimalist aluminum design that’s complementary to Apple’s Power Macs, PowerBook G4, MacBook Pro and new Mac Pro systems.
