Music production software maker IK Multimedia on Friday announced three new “Bundle” collections of its software: The “Total Studio Bundle,” the “Total Effects Bundle” and the “Total Workstation Bundle.”
IK’s software is useful for musicians who use their Macs to record, compose, produce and master their music. The tools included with each bundle can also help with post-production.
The $699 Total Workstation Bundle includes SampleTank 2.1 XL — a sample workstation that includes more than 1,700 sounds Sonik Synth 2, a synth workstation that includes more than 5,000 sounds; and the Miroslav Philharmonik orchestral workstation, with more than 1,300 sounds. The collection includes 21.5GB of samples for all instrument types and music genres.
The $699 Total Effects Bundle comprises four different effects plug-in suites — Ampeg SVX, a bass rig with Ampeg sound; Classik Studio Reverb 4, which includes high-end reverbs modeled on classic outboards; T-RackS analog modeled mixing and mastering suite; and Amplitube 2, a guitar amp and effects modeling tool.
The $1,199 Total Studio Bundle is the entire collection of IK-made effects and instrument plug-ins — more than 90 DSP effects, more than 8,000 multisampled sounds and 21.5GB of samples.
Registered IK customers who already have some of these products can purchase the bundle packages at upgrade prices. More details are available on the Web site.
