Konica Minolta refreshed its line of networkable magicolor color laser printers today with Mac-compatible models starting at $399.
The $399 magicolor 2530 DL prints up to 20 pages per minute (PPM) in black & white and up to 5 PPM in color. It outputs at up to 2400 x 600 dot per inch (DPI) resolution. It features PictBridge-support for direct output from compatible digital cameras. It features built-in Ethernet 10/100baseTX support, and also works via USB.
Optional accessories include a $299 duplexer, for two-sided printing, and RAM upgrades to expand the memory from 64MB to 576MB.
The magicolor 2550 EN and 2550 DN network color laser printers feature 9600 x 600 DPI resolution, 20 PPM black & white output and 5 PPM color output. They also feature USB 2.0 and 10/100baseTX Ethernet interfaces. The 2550EN costs $499; the $699 2550 DN adds a duplexer.
All printers are compatible with Mac OS 9.1 or Mac OS X v10.2 or later.
