Lexmark on Tuesday unveiled its P350 Portable Photo Printer, a $129 inkjet printer that produces 4 x 6 inch photo prints. The printer uses Lexmark’s Evercolor II pigment-based inks, which it says dry more quickly and are highly resistant to water and fading, when used with the right paper.
The printer outputs 4 x 6 inch photos in 75 seconds at up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (DPI) resolution. It can operate as a stand-alone unit using memory cards or PictBridge-compatible cameras; it can also be attached to a Mac or PC through USB.
The P350 incorporates an adjustable 2.4-inch color display so you can edit on the fly, or add effects like red-eye fix, sepia tone, antique grey and more.
Lexmark’s Web site hadn’t been updated with information about the P350 as Macworld posted this article.
