Newer Technology has announced NuPower 1350mAh replacement batteries for Apple’s fourth-generation iPod — the 40GB model, as well as the iPod photo. It costs $29.95.
The 1350mAh battery delivers up to 150 percent more run-time than the original stock battery, according to Newer, which claims the battery is the highest-capacity replacement for these iPods on the market.
The replacement battery utilizes the same Lithium-polymer technology as the original battery, but provides considerably more charge capacity. Included with the battery are instructions and tools.
