The 2007 Macworld Conference & Expo will feature “Digital Lifestyle Experience” feature areas when it returns to San Francisco’s Moscone Center in January, IDG World Expo, the show’s coordinators, reported Tuesday.
Each “Digital Lifestyle Experience” area is a showcase with a different theme on how Macs are used — there will be the “Digital Photography Experience,” “Digital Video Experience” and “Digital Music & Sound Experience.”
The showcases will be placed in Moscone Center’s North Hall, an area that’s been off-limits to Macworld Expo showgoers for the past couple of years. Exhibitors at the next expo remain concentrated in the South Hall.
The experience areas provide showgoers with a chance to use new products from the featured industries, and will be staffed by Macworld Expo’s faculty to help answer questions or provide guidance to users interested in what’s going on. There will be expert demonstrations, tips and techniques and more.
IDG World Expo and Mac Publishing LLC are both owned by International Data Group (IDG).
