Logitech’s new FreePulse Wireless Headphones are coming in October for $99.99. The wireless headphones utilize Bluetooth 2.0 Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) for improved performance, according to Logitech.
The FreePulse Wireless Headphones come with a transmitter base that sports a 3.5mm headphone connection. In announcing the headphones Logitech touted their iPod compatibility, but they’ll work with almost any device that has a headphone jack.
The FreePulse Wireless Headphones use a headband made of high-carbon spring-steel and feature a special “bass boost” feature that’s turned on by depressing a button on the right earpiece. The right earpiece also contains volume controls. Each earpiece contains a 30mm neodymium driver.
The headphones are powered by rechargeable batteries — a charging cable is included, and Logitech claims they’ll work for about six hours on a full charge. They have a wireless range of up to 33 feet.
