Intuit on Thursday announced QuickBooks 2007 for Mac, the latest version of their business accounting software. New to this release is Universal binary support to let the software run natively on Intel and PowerPC-based Macs alike. QuickBooks 2007 costs $199.95.
QuickBooks offers business owners the ability to manage standard accounting tasks for their companies, including printing checks, paying bills, tracking sales and expenses, generating estimates, invoices, purchase orders and reports.
New in this release is the Layout Designer, which lets users create customized, professional-looking templates for invoices, estimates, purchase orders, statements, sales receipts and credit memos.
QuickBooks 2007 also lets you create and print deposit slips and apply single payments to multiple jobs faster than before. And a new Tutorial Center helps you complete tasks and gives experienced QuickBooks users a look at new features.
The new version of QuickBooks for Mac works with the latest Windows releases, as well.
