Tricky Software has updated its status on Armado, its forthcoming platform action game for the Mac. The game is expected to be made available to beta testers in the next few weeks. What’s more, the company is adding Mac OS 9 to its list of supported operating systems.
Armado tells the story of a young armadillo who goes on an adventure that takes him through challenging areas such as woodlands, snow-covered peaks and volcanic mountains. Announced in August, Armado is in development for both Mac and Windows operating systems.
“… we’ve had the Mac OS 9 version of Armado running since the beginning, so we’ve decided to add that to our supported platforms. Our goal is to make the game available to as many people as possible,” said Tricky Software’s Zachary Waibel.
System requirements now will call for Mac OS 9.2 or Mac OS X v10.2 or later and a G4 or better (including Intel).
