SmileonMyMac has released PDFpen 3.0, a new version of their PDF editing software for Mac OS X. PDFpen costs $49.95.
PDFpen 3.0 now generates text blocks automatically, to allow you to modify original text in PDF files. The text blocks can be corrected and edited. New image editing capabilities include moving, resizing, copying and deleting images. Speed has been increased and multiple column text selection has been added.
The company has also released a 3.0 release of PDFpenPro, its higher-end PDF editing tool. The Pro version creates fillable PDF forms and embed links. It costs $94.95.
Demos are available. PDFpen and PDFpenPro requires Mac OS X v10.2.5 or later.
