Oranged.net Software has announced the release of
4.0.2, an update to its organizational software for studios and freelancers. New to this version is Universal binary support for Intel and PowerPC-based Macs. A free update for 4.x users, Studiometry costs $169.95 for a single-user license.
Studiometry tracks clients, contacts, projects and to do lists. It can generate invoices, produce reports, handles accounting and calendaring, tracks payments, debts and credits, is networkable, syncs with Address Book and iCal — in short, Studiometry provides much of the tracking needed by professionals who run their businesses from a Mac.
Besides Universal binary support, several issues have been fixed with the new version, such as a possible problem with backup size limitations, alignment of rows in Invoice Template data and viewing project images in separate windows. The “Update Available” window has also been redone.
Studiometry 4.0.2 requires Mac OS X v10.3 or later. Add-on licenses cost $89.95; upgrades from previous versions are $39.95. Site licenses are also available.
