Other World Computing (OWC) on Monday announced it is offering 1GB RAM upgrade kits for Apple’s Mac Pro. The kit comes in sets of two Apple-qualified 512MB Fully Buffered DIMM chips, for $248.75.
The memory is manufactured to Apple’s Mac Pro specification, and includes heat spreaders. It joins OWC’s 2GB and 4GB kits for the Mac Pro, which are available for $469 and $974 respectively. A cash-back rebate of up to $350 per set is available from OWC for trade-in of Apple factory memory.
