Pure Digital Technologies has announced a new $129.99 camcorder that works with Macs and PCs and features built-in software that can upload its content to video sharing Web sites, including Google Video and Grouper.
The pocket-sized camcorder has a 2x digital zoom and 1.4-inch color playback screen. The device connects to a Mac or PC using USB, and includes built-in software that lets you view, share and archive videos. An included cable connects the camera to a TV set.
You can e-mail videos and create video greeting cards through a Grouper Networks connection, or share the videos with others using Google Video. What’s more, you can also have the camera’s video transferred to DVD using one of more than 9,000 processing locations.
The $129.99 camcorder features 30 minutes of video storage capacity. A 60-minute version will also be available for $169.
