XtremeMac has announced plans to ship new TuffWrap silicone cases for the second-generation iPod nano starting on November 1, 2006. The cases will cost $29.95 and are now available for pre-order.
Made from flexible silicone, the TuffWrap cases protect the iPod nano from scratches and dings while providing access to all controls and ports. The sides of the TuffWrap are srided to help improve grip.
A removable screen protector is also included. The screen protector is a hard plastic insert edged with soft rubber. A detachable belt clicp is also included; it locks in different positions and can be used to secure excess earbud cord slack.
Also included is a special universal dock well insert that enables an iPod nano equipped with the TuffWrap to fit into speaker systems and other accessories without removing the case first.
The TuffWrap comes in various colors.
