AEC Software on Tuesday released FastTrack Schedule 9.1, a free update to their project management software for Mac OS X. New to this release is Universal binary support and integration with Mindjet MindManager. FastTrack Schedule costs $349.
FastTrack Schedule lets you build a graphical layout of project you’re working on with drag-and-drop support. The software lets you display your project as a Gantt chart, resource-centric layout or chronologically in a Calendar view. It sports integration with iCal and .Mac, is cross-platform compatible with its Windows counterpart, and features more than 30 templates to help you get started quickly. FastTrack Schedule also has integration with Microsoft Project.
New in this release is Universal binary support that runs natively on Intel and PowerPC-based Macs. What’s more, the new version supports Mindjet’s popular MindManager mind-mapping software — now users can import data from MindManager’s visual project “maps” into editable FastTrack schedules.
Trial versions are available for download. Users of previous releases of FastTrack Schedule (Version 8 and lower) can upgrade for $149.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, 16MB available RAM 60MB hard disk drive space, 1024 x 768 resolution.
