Acclivity has announced the release of a maintenance update to MarketBlast, its eBay auction management software for Mac OS X and Windows. MarketBlast 1.16 is a free update for registered users, and costs $149 to purchase — a 30-day trial version is available for download.
MarketBlast is designed to simplify the process of selling products on eBay. Your information is maintained locally, and you can run reports, create listings, check customer information, list to the eBay auction site of your choice, and more.
New in this release is an improved Picture Center which is now easier to use when you’re setting up and hosting pictures using Flickr or an FTP site. Store subcategories are now correctly updated to eBay; customer stats and sales figures now agree in the Customer Detail and Navigator windows, gallery pictures are now correctly displayed on relistings, reports have been improved with a new Report Destination window, and more.
MarketBlast was originally developed by 4D. Acclivity, which distributes the MYOB small business accounting software in the United States, acquired MarketBlast from 4D in June.
MarketBlast requires a G3 or better, Mac OS X v10.3 or later, 256MB RAM, 1024×768 resolution, and a high-speed Internet connection.
