Tricky Software is still hard at work on their forthcoming game Armado, a platform-based action shooter that puts you in charge of a heroic armadillo. The game will be released for Mac and Windows when it’s finished.
To give gamers a taste of Armado in action, Tricky Software has posted a promotional video of what the gameplay looks like.
“You’ll get a really good sense of the game’s pace, look and playability,” said Tricky’s Zachary Waibel.
Tricky plans to distribute a beta version of the game soon, as well. Gamers interested in giving Armado a try before the game is actually released are encouraged to drop Tricky a line by e-mail to apply, and be sure to include some basic information about your system’s configuration.
When it’s ultimately released, Armado will run on a G4 or better with Mac OS 9.2 or Mac OS X v10.2 or later. The game will also be Intel-compatible.
