Internet postage distributor Endicia has announced that its PictureItPostage 2.2 software for Macintosh is now available at Apple retail stores. It costs $29.95.
PictureItPostage enables you to create custom postage stamps using your own digital imagery. You can use photos, logos or graphics of your own creation, then print out sheets of real U.S. postage stamps that feature that image.
You can vary postage amounts from post card rate ($.24) to Priority Mail ($4.05). The software integrates with iPhoto and works with iSight webcams as well. Besides customizing what image is used, you can vary text and background colors to complement your image.
The $29.95 package includes the software on CD, a user’s guide, a coupon for 10 percent off any purchases at the Endicia store up to $50 in discount, and an authorization code with a value of $29.95 — enough for 30 first-class stamps. and delivery of the postage sheets to you by first class mail.
Available as a Universal binary, PictureItPostage requires Mac OS X v10.4 or later.
