OneVision on Monday announced the release of Speedflow Edit 4.0 for Mac OS X and Windows. The utility lets you edit text, images and vector graphics embedded in PDF files. It’s aimed at print production personnel.
Speedflow Edit allows you to adjust text, formatting, leading and kerning, reflow text from one box to another, embed or replace missing fonts, converts TrueType fonts to Type 1 and manages CID font encoding.
Speedflow Edit also lets you adjust curves, levels and color balance in raster images, exports and imports raster data, converts color to gray, RGB, Lab, CMYK or spot, includes ICC-based color management and much more.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.2 or later with Java v1.4.2 Updated 2. Pricing was not available.
