Apple on Wednesday introduced iTunes Latino, a dedicated area within the U.S. iTunes Store that features top Latin music, music videos, television shows, audiobooks and podcasts.
Apple said that iTunes Latino offers hundreds of thousands of Latin and international music tracks, including many iTunes exclusives. Genres represented include Regional Mexicano, Rock Alternativo, Baladas y Boleros, Pop Latino, reggaeton and Hip-Hop.
In conjunction with the introduction of iTunes Latino, Apple announced a partnership with Telemundo and mun2 to bring Spanish-language television programming. The programming includes popular Telemundo telenovela fare like “Pasion de Gavilanes,” “El Cuerpo del Deseo” and “Decisiones.”
