Adobe is now shipping
Creative Suite 2.3, an enhanced version of the application bundle that now includes Dreamweaver 8 and Acrobat Professional 8.
According to Adobe benefits of the new version include the ability for creative workgroups to easily set up shared reviews with Acrobat 8 Professional so participants can see and respond to each other’s comments as they review. Acrobat 8 Professional also introduces the Start Meeting feature with built-in access to Adobe Acrobat Connect (formerly Breeze), a Web conferencing application that supports real-time online collaboration.
Tighter integration between Acrobat 8 Professional and other components of Creative Suite 2.3 allows users to synchronize color settings, adds support for transparency flattener presets, and a shared print technology. Acrobat is also the first component of the Creative Suite to offer Universal Binary support for the Mac.
Adobe Creative Suite 2.3 costs $1199 for the full version, $159 for an upgrade from Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium, and $549 for an upgrade from Creative Suite 1.x Premium and Standard.
